Nicholas Wasiliev is an up-and-coming writer currently based in Sydney. Completing his first novel at age 11, he in the Southern Highlands of NSW before moving in 2013 to Macquarie University in Sydney to complete a Bachelor of Arts with the Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Development Studies and Writing.
While at university, he began to write for student magazine 'Grapeshot', where he came an editorial assistant for one year.
Completing university in 2017, Nick currently works as a Content Producer for 2SER 107.3 Sydney, and a Podcast Producer and Sports Writer for one of Australia's largest independent rugby websites, Green and Gold Rugby.
As a Music Writer, he currently writes for independent music website, Music Insight. He also currently interns at Hunter and Bligh, an online lifestyle journal, and at the Rugby Union Players Association.
As a creative writer, he has been published in Issue #7 of 'The Quarry', Macquarie University's creative writing journal (of which he was also a fiction editor) with his short story 'The Emperor's Path', and is currently completing his first novella for Lime Books.
He is a keen ukulele, guitar and bass player, is a big fan of Nintendo 64 games and records. He is a keen cricket player, rugby player and rides horses, loves geography, has travelled to over twenty countries, including working for a year in the United Kingdom, and also suffers from compulsive procrastination.
