Arguably the biggest name in rap right now, Kendrick Lamar has finally announced Australian dates for his upcoming DAMN. World Tour.
2018 has already been a big year for Kendrick, with him dropping a highly acclaimed soundtrack for the Marvel movie smash, Black Panther.
On top of that, he also picked up five Grammys at this year’s awards ceremony, including Best Rap Album for DAMN. and Best Rap Song for ‘HUMBLE.’
His highly-acclaimed fourth record also became the first rap record in music history to win the Pulitzer Prize for Music. If that wasn’t enough, here in Australia, ‘HUMBLE.’ also topped Triple J’s Hottest 100 for 2018.
With over six million sales under his belt, Kendrick has also been breaking records with his current World Tour.
Following extensive legs all across North America and Europe, the third leg of Kendrick’s DAMN. World Tour will see him play throughout Australia and New Zealand in July.
Kendrick will play shows in Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Dunedin, Auckland and Sydney. He will also headline the sold-out Splendour in the Grass festival in Byron Bay, performing alongside Lorde, Vampire Weekend and Franz Ferdinand.
This show is a must for any fan of music, especially to see one of the most important music artists in the world today in his element.
Tickets will be on sale from April 30th. Get in quick, as demand will be high!
