Appointed News Coordinator at Music Insight!!!
Nothing special here, but just a small note.
A few weeks ago I applied for the position of Deputy Editor to the online website Music Insight, whom I have been writing with since February.
While I didn't end up getting that, the editor offered me a new position: to be the News Coordinator and run the day to day news activities of the website. I was absolutely over the moon to be offered this position.
I had started this year aiming to grow and expand my knowledge of writing, editing and learning, and this (along with Green and Gold Rugby), has come to represent a huge moment for me personally, and has given me confidence to move forward into this career.
Thanks so much to the many people who come on this website, who send messages of encouragement, and above all, take the time to read in general. To read is to know. To read is to question and to and critique. And I'm learning how true that is more and more everyday.
