360 returns with new album and tour for March 2018 (Music Insight)
One of the biggest names in Australian hip-hop is back. 360 returns with a brand new record Vintage Modern and a national tour.
The Vintage Modern National Tour 2018 will begin in March next year, and will mark the first time 360 has toured in over three years. With dates lined up in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne, fans can expect to see the rap artist back in winning form.
Members of 360’s private fan club The Close Circle will have access to a presale from October 17, with tickets on sale to the general public from October 19.
360 has also dropped a new single from the forthcoming album: Coup de Gráce, featuring longtime friends and collaborators PEZ & Seth Sentry.
Vintage Modern has proved to be the start of a big shift for the artist, with many tracks coming together acoustically. Teaming up with a tight-knit production crew – longtime collaborator Styalz Fuego, executive producer Nic Martin and chief instrumentalist Carl Dimataga – the album crackles with 360’s honest, razor sharp raps, and a lush sonic backbone of guitars and live instrumentation. It’s a big departure from his trademark synth-heavy, electronic sound.
Either way, it’s set to be another stunning record from one of Aussie hip hop’s most consistent artists.
